Kako Choi Profile Image

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a Masters Degree in Dietetics as well as a Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Nutrition.

I have a real passion in dietary management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), particularly the use of the Low Fodmap Diet. Food is an essential part of our everyday life, whether from a social or a nutritional perspective. In my experience it can be difficult for individuals suffering from IBS to juggle life and gut symptoms, which is why I aim to support individuals to identify and understand their food triggers, while still being able to find food they can enjoy.

Grocery shopping can be very challenging and sometimes even stressful for those who are following the Low Fodmap Diet. This is why I created the fodmap spotter, where I share with my ‘fodmappers’ all the low fodmap food products that I come across – making the choice simpler for those on a Low Fodmap Diet.

You can follow the fodmap spotter on facebook and Instagram.
